Matt Washington founded Premier Events AVL alongside his father after years of working in the non-profit and events space. He currently serves as Senior Pastor at Legacy Hills Church in Colorado where he is chairmen of the board, and he is also on the board of a religious non-profit based in Texas.
My Story
Matt Washington is an entrepreneur, investor, and pastor. In 2014, he began working in high-end residential/commercial AV and home automation. With additional experience in construction, he quickly became skilled with installation of AV systems. Simultaneously, he began working with various non-profits serving and equipping the youth with life and leadership skills. In 2016, he committed full-time to serving as a pastor at a large church in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas. While prioritizing ministry, Matt quickly gained exposure to advanced AV integration for large-scale events and services ranging in attendance of 200-4000 people.
In 2022, he relocated to Denver, Colorado to start a brand-new church called Legacy Hills Church where he currently serves as Founding/Senior Pastor. Taking his experience with AV systems from both residential/commercial installation and non-profit events, Matt became highly effective at leading weekly church services with an emphasis on portability with exceptional quality. This was the perfect setup for the launching of Premier Events AVL in 2025.
Matt graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a BA in Communications and minor in Business. He currently resides in the Denver Metro with his wife and three kids.
